Back in January 2025, Obasi had captured public attention with a major endorsement deal that thrust him into the limelight. He signed a multimillion-naira agreement with the renowned real estate and oil and gas conglomerate, A.A. Emmaco Group.

A video shared by the company on its official Facebook page showcased a beaming Obasi shaking hands with the CEO, marking the beginning of what seemed to be a promising chapter in his journey.

This came after his emotional public plea, where he spoke painfully about the years of pain and injustice he had endured while with the actress.
