Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has responded forcefully to her colleague Iyabo Ojo’s recent public outcry, where the latter warned that Lizzy should be held responsible if anything were to happen to her or her children.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, Lizzy Anjorin denied the allegations and went on the offensive, accused Iyabo Ojo of orchestrating a donation scam disguised as activism.
She claimed that Iyabo had manipulated public emotions during the public uproar following the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad and misused donation funds supposedly raised for DJ Splash and others.
She wrote;
“Everything Iyabo Ojo said online is to get donations and share it by percentage… She is a pathological liar. Everything she said about Naira Marley were all lies. Ask her about the account details she pinned at DJ Splash’s house. Where are the donations?”
Anjorin questioned the transparency of Iyabo’s donations and described her as someone who thrives on creating drama to gather financial support. She also accused her of instructing a vulnerable person to post bank account details online for personal gain—alleging this amounted to digital fraud.
> “You can help people with your hard-earned money in peace with dignity, but instructing a vulnerable person to pin their account details to get more funds by lying and destroying hardworking personalities is online fraud.”
She urged her followers to visit her alternate Instagram page, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal, for what she described as “evidence” to back up her claims against Iyabo Ojo.

This rebuttal comes shortly after Iyabo Ojo took to social media with an emotional video, alleging that she had received death threats and intimidation over her advocacy in the Mohbad case.
According to her, she was even warned via a letter a few days before her daughter’s wedding in Tanzania and later saw her name inscribed in a coffin — an act she believes was linked to Lizzy’s supporters.
While Iyabo claims her intentions were to seek justice and amplify the voices of victims, Lizzy insists it was all a carefully crafted ploy for financial gain.
As the public fallout between the two actresses escalates, fans and industry observers are calling for accountability and facts — especially as both parties continue to hurl damning allegations with reputational consequences.
