Nigerian gospel musician, Lanre Teriba better known as Atorise has caused a stir after wading into the ongoing drama between Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe aka Genesis and Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi of Love of Christ Generation Church, Cherubim and Seraphim, Lagos.
Oladele, who is the Shepherd-in-Charge of Celestial Church of Christ Global Genesis Parish, slammed Ajayi for abandoning him while he was in custody. Genesis was convicted and sentenced to jail for defrauding a London-based architect and converting her property for personal use in 2021.
In response to his accusations, Atorise, in a video post, made it clear that Mama Ayaji doesn’t owe the prophet anything.
According to him, everyone is battling their individual problems, and Mama Ajayi was kind enough to offer prayers when Oladele was going through his ordeal.
Teriba went on to order Oladele to retract his statement and tender an apology to the clergywoman within a time frame of 24 hours.
The gospel singer made it clear that he is willing to physically attack Oladele if he fails to do the right thing.
