The immediate past Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Adamu Abdu-Kafarati is dead, WITHIN NIGERIA learnt.

The jurist, who retired on July 25, 2019 on attaining the mandatory statutory retirement age of 65, died on Thursday after observing the evening prayer.

He was said to have died in his Abuja home.

His death was announced barely 24hours after the demise of retired Rear Admiral, Joseph Omozuwa Aikhomu.

WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that the former Chief of Naval Administration died from COVID-19 complications on Thursday.

Aikhomu, 65, was younger brother to Admiral Augustus Aikhomu (rtd), former military Vice President to Ibrahim Babamosi Babangida (IBB).
