Plateau has taken delivery of 105,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal Government.
Commissioner of Health, Dr Nimkong Lar Ndam, who confirmed this to newsmen on Tuesday evening, said the vaccines arrived from Abuja through Yakubu Gowon airport.
Ndam explained the vaccines have been moved to the cool room for safe keeping.
He explained the next step is to move them to cool stores in the 17 Local Government Areas.
According to him, the government would then work modalities on when vaccination exercise would commence.
