2021 World Rating: UI, LASU, UNILAG ranked three best Nigerian varsities

The University of Ibadan, Lagos State University, and the University of Lagos have ranked as the three best Nigerian universities in the latest 2021 Times Higher Education World University Ranking.

According to the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Ranking released on Wednesday, the three universities were ranked among the top 800 universities in the world.

University of Ibadan, Lagos State University, and the University of Lagos were ranked first, second, and third best universities in Nigeria respectively.

Covenant University, Ota, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife make up the top six universities in Nigeria.

On the world stage, UI ranked within 401-500th bracket; LASU, 501–600th; and UNILAG 601–800th to make the list of top 800 world universities.

In THE 2021 Emerging Economies University Rankings category, UI and UNN scored one per cent in international students enrolment, while LASU, UNILAG, CU, and OAU had no record of student enrolment.
