Popular Auto-mobile brand, BMW has announced its intention to drop Nigerian-New Zealand UFC mixed martial artist Isreal Adesanya over his rape comment in a video shared on his Instagram page.
Isreal was meant to be announce as the brand ambassador for the global car brand but was dropped after his comment to Kevinn Holland where he said he will rape him.
In a statement released by BMW, it read;
“due to the comments made by an athlete online, we have reviewed our pending association with said athlete and we have decided not to push forward with a specific ambassador for the brand at this time in new zealand.”
However, Isreal has since apologized for his insensitive comment which end him a global backlash and criticism.
