A Deeper Life Pastor, Otamayomi Ogedengbe, who was kidnapped in Irese in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been released by his abductors.
WITHIN NIGERIA recall that Pastor Ogedengbe was abducted after conducting Bible study in his church at Irese area of Akure.
His wife, Yinka, said the kidnappers shot into the air before taking him away.
It was also learnt that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N30m.
According to TVC news, the pastor’s release was confirmed by a female member of the Deeper Life church who pleaded anonymity.
“The church had been praying fervently since the incident occurred and they were overjoyed to learn of the Pastor’s release by his kidnappers,” the source stated.
A family source, who also confirmed the development said the pastor had rejoined his family.
He declined to comment on the payment of ransom to secure his release.
