Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, popularly known as, Baba Ijesha, detained by police for alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl has been granted bail.
The actor’s lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, told The PUNCH on Monday, stating that the bail was granted on on health grounds.
Ogunlana said “He has been granted bail about one hour ago. We are working to perfect the bail. He was granted bail on health grounds. He has not been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been met.”
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Baba Ijesha was arrested by the police for allegedly for defiling a 14-year-old girl since she was seven years old.
