Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed has appointed Dr. Aminu Gamawa as his new Chief of Staff.
Mohammed had last Wednesday dissolved his cabinet including the Secretary to the State Government, Sabi’u Baba; his Chief of Staff, Dr. Ladan Salihu; 21 Commissioners, and some Special Advisers.
He, however, retained his Special Advisers on Security, National and State Assembly Liaison, Social Investment, and Media and Publicity.
The appointment of Gamawa as contained in a press release signed and made available to journalists in Bauchi Monday.
The Special Adviser of Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado said his appointment takes immediate effect.
According to the statement, Gamawa holds a Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Law from Harvard Law School at Harvard University, USA.
He was the immediate past Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning in the state.
