Gunmen have a reverend sister and one Mrs lkenna Onwusoroaka in two different kidnap incidents which occurred on Sunday morning in Imo state.
Some gunmen were said to have stormed St Philip’s Anglican Church in Ohii, Owerri West local government area of the state, at about 7:45 am and kidnapped Mrs lkenna Onwusoroaka.
Youths of Orogwe Archdeaconry who were holding their camp/conference at the church premises, reportedly ran for their lives as the gunmen drove out in her vehicle, leaving theirs behind.
A reverend sister was also abducted at Dim na Nume, Isu in Nwangele local government area of the state. This occurred few minutes after the Ohii incident. Daily Trust reported that she was reportedly driving in her car when the kidnappers crossed her and forced her to stop.
