Igbo leaders afraid to speak for Nnamdi Kanu unlike Northerners standing behind killer herdsmen – Adeyanju

Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has lashed out at South-East governors for not speaking up about the arrest and detention of the Supreme Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Adeyanju accused the South-East leaders of being afraid to speak up against the ‘illegal’ arrest of Kanu unlike the North who have being standing behind killer herdsmen.

The convener of Concerned Nigerians stated this via his official Twitter handle.

The Abuja based activist, noted that only Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe; Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom have spoken up for the IPOB leader.

He wrote: “Igbo leaders so afraid to speak up on the Nnamdi Kanu issue. Almost the entire North still standing with killer herdsmen. Only Abaribe, Ortom and Wike have spoken up.”
