A petroleum tanker has reportedly crushed at least 15 pupils of the Army Day Secondary School, to death in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the accident occurred on Thursday opposite the General David Ejoor’s Barracks of the Nigerian Army in Effurun, close to Warri.
According to SaharaReporters, the students were returning from school around 3:30pm when the tanker loaded with petroleum product crushed them to death while those who survived were taken to the Army Hospital, Effurun Barracks for medical attention.
The reason for the crash is yet to be revealed as at the time of filling this report.
