The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is well and healthy.

Sanwo-Olu stated this on the sidelines after inaugurating 102 compactor trucks and 100 double dino bins acquired by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) today August 4.

Recall that the former Lagos State governor was recently rumoured to have passed away during his medical trip abroad.

WITHIN NIGERIA, however, reported that the Media Adviser to Tinubu, Mr Tunde Rahman stated that the politician is fine, hale and hearty contrary to widespread rumour of his death.

The statement read in part: ”His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is fine. He is hale and hearty. He is not in any hospital. He has no medical problem that would require hospitalization.

This publication had also reported that the governor visited Tinubu in London after speculations that he passed away abroad after he was “hurriedly flown out”.

“My going to see our leader was really around the rumours flying around about him.

He is well and healthy. We discussed happening in our party and country at large. All is well with him as I saw myself and there is nothing to worry about,” the governor said.
