Thomas Tuchel speaks on his admiration for Lukaku

The new season begins in few days but Chelsea will have a chance at their first trophy on Wednesday when they face Villarreal for the SuperCup final.

It is no longer news that Romelu Lukaku has completed his medical ahead of his move to Chelsea. However, the Belgian striker will not be available for the game.

Speaking with Skysports about Lukaku, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel described him as a fantastic player.

He compared him to the likes of Haaland, Kane and Lewandowski who play as real No9, who loves to score, and also have a great presence in the box.

“This is not a secret, Lukaku is a fantastic player, his kind of profile is what we want”. Tuchel said.
