Adequate security has been assured for Corps members posted to Borno when they get to their places of primary assignment.

Recall that the Corps members posted to Borno Just ended their three weeks orientation at the temporary Camp in Katsina State.

State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Borno, Nura Umar gave the assurance while addressing the corps members on Monday

Katsina State is in northwest Nigeria where temporary orientation was raised for corps members posted to Borno State for security concerns.

The Coordinator assured the 2021 batch ‘B’, stream 1 Corpers of safety, saying arrangements have been put in place for their safety, while in Borno State for their one-year mandatory assignment.

He said: “I assure you that we are not going to post any corps member to the areas with security threats.

“We are in active collaboration with all the security agencies to safeguard the lives and property of corps members,’’ he assured.

The state coordinator also urged the Corps members to shun drug abuse and other vices and also be good ambassadors of their families.
