Prominent Nigerian Lawyer and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK), has faulted the federal government over the ongoing rehabilitation of repentant Boko Haram terrorists.
He explained that a certain terrorist identified as Khairulah Khairkhwa who was released from Guantanamo Bay prison by Barrack Obama is now one of the leaders of the Taliban in Afghanistan
Taking it to his social media, Femi Fani-Kayode made it known that Obama rehabilitation conduct of terrorists was a big failure.
Pointing out the recommendation that any terrorist group or Boko Haram should be pardoned, released and rehabilitated is a foolish and dangerous idea.
According to him;
1. “Obama’s release and rehabilitation policy of terrorists was a monumental failure”.
2. “The suggestion that Boko Haram terrorists or any other terrorists in Nigeria should be forgiven, released and rehabilitated is asinine, dangerous and absurd”.
3. “The implementation of such a policy would be counter-productive and would result in even more terror being visited on the Nigerian people”
