COVID-19: Nigeria records seven deaths, 637 fresh cases in 18 states, FCT

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC has announced 637 cases of COVID-19 in 18 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

NCDC, while giving update on its verified Facebook page on Thursday morning, said about seven patients have died due to complications from the dreaded virus.

So far, Nigeria has recorded 188,880 cases of the disease since its outbreak in 2020.

No fewer than 169, 382 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.

However, a total of 2, 288 fatalities have been recorded across the country as Lagos State remains the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria.
