Hon Abok Ayuba Nuhu, the Speaker of the Plateau State House Assembly, has been impeached
The impeached speaker was replaced with Sanda Yakubu, who hails from the Pingana constituency of Bassa Local Government Area of the state.
16 out of the 24 members of the assembly voted in favour of the impeachment at the plenary on Thursday.

In another report, some National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members in Anambra State have pledged to boycott the next gubernatorial election due to repeated threats from the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, frequently depends on corps members to conduct elections around the country. During elections, they are frequently utilized as Presiding Officers, PO, and Assistant Presiding Officers, APO 1, 2, and 3.
