Mutiu Agboke, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo state has arrived at the venue of the All Progress Congress (APC) congress in Oyo.
Agboke assured members the Congress will commence as scheduled.
According to Agboke, the statutory role of INEC in the congress is to watch, monitor and observe.
He added that the commission will write and send reports of whatever transpired in the congress to its national headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking with journalists at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, Agboke said that INEC headquarters in Abuja has directed that the Congress should hold as scheduled.
