Oyo schools resume January 10

Oyo State Government on Tuesday directed all public to resume for second term 2021/2022 academic session on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, made the announcement during New Year prayers with officials.

Adeniran said the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and SUBEB would monitor compliance across the state.

He advised parents to prepare all learners for resumption as academic activities will start the same day.

Adeniran wished schools, teachers and students a safe, successful session and urged them to observe all COVID-19 safety protocols.

The chairman assured that welfare of staff members remains the top priority of the management and the Governor Seyi Makinde administration.
