Nigeria has recorded 48 new cases of the deadly disease, Coronavirus in nine states.
The COVID-19 result was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update for Thursday, February 10, 2022.
According to the agency’s report, the breakdown of the new COVID-19 cases across states is as follow; Lagos-15, Cross River-12, FCT-8, Plateau-7, Ogun-2, Abia-1, Delta-1, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1.
The agency data showed that 72 persons were discharged after recovering from the infection.
For the fifth day in a row, no fatality was recorded, leaving the total deaths at 3,139.
In total, 253,923 cases have been confirmed with 230,293 recoveries.
