Many injured as Osun JTF vehicle crashes into bus while chasing yahoo boys

Many passengers have been left injured after the 18 seater commercial bus conveying them was hit by a Joint Task Force (JTF) vehicle chasing suspected yahoo boys in Osogbo, the Osun State.

The JTF operatives were said to be pursuing some internet fraudsters, otherwise known as yahoo boys, when the accident occurred around Ring Road on Friday.

It was learnt that the JTF operatives tried to run away from the scene of the accident but for angry onlookers who prevented them from leaving.

According to DAILY POST, information indicates that victims have been conveyed in an O’Ambulance to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that in December a Rapid Response Squad (RRS) patrol van crushed a policeman identified as Supol Ayeni to death along Federal Polytechnic, Ado/Ijan Road in Eki State.

The RRS operatives chasing suspected fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo boys hit their colleague who was on a motorcycle.
