Nigerian Senate has said votes on the Constitution Review will be done electronically and will also be transmitted live on television stations.

Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan stated this in his remark to close Wednesday’s plenary.

Lawan directed the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to ensure the functionality of the electronic gadgets in the red chamber so as not to constitute any encumbrance during proceedings.

He insisted that no excuse will be entertained for the equipment in the chamber not to work effectively as the Constitution Review was a strategic legislative activity.
