As the ongoing military operations by Russia continues, Russian forces have reportedly entered the Ukraine capital, Kyiv.
On Friday, Ukrainian authorities revealed that Russian troops were in the northern district of Kyiv, after their armoured vehicles were seen advancing into the capital city through the northern district, BBC reports.
Ukraine President Zelensky has since addressed the nation and appealed to Putin to stop the assault and consider a ceasefire to save the lives of citizens of both nations.
The president had in a statement, banned males between the ages of 18- 60 from leaving the country as the activities of the Russian forces continue to trigger tension across the world.
