At least twelve people have been burnt to death in an accident along the Ilorin-Ogbomosho road in Kwara State.

The incident was said to have occurred about around 7:00am on Saturday when the driver of an 18-seater white coloured Toyota Hiace passenger bus heading to Lagos had a head-on collision with a white DAF Volvo trailer.

Six passengers who survived the accident sustained varying degrees of injuries.

According to Daily Trust, an eyewitness said the driver of the bus was over speeding while plying one-way.
