Tenant allegedly stabs landlord to death over cleaning of compound in Ibadan

A tenant has allegedly stabbed his landlord to death at Agbon street in Iyana Church area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

According to DAILY POST, the tenant presumed to be a Hausa man from the northern part of the country stabbed his landlord following a misunderstanding between the duo over the cleaning of the compound.

It was gathered that the tenant stabbed his landlord to death over the argument on Tuesday.

Residents of the area said the alleged killer has since absconded from the area to avoid being lynched as of the time of filing this report.

It was, however, gathered that security operatives have been deployed to the area to prevent a breakdown of law and order.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, could not be reached to comment on the incident as at the time of filling this report.
