VIDEO: Manchester United legend, Patrice Evra visits Oshodi, Lagos state

Ex-Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra has landed in Lagos, Nigeria for the Chess In Slums initiative.

The former Red Devil star visited Oshodi in Lagos State on Saturday, March 26, 2022 as part of the Chess in Slums initiative by founder, Tunde Onakoya.

Tunde took to Twitter and disclosed that a Manchester United legend would be visiting Oshodi to play chess with kids enrolled into the programme.

He also asked his followers to guess who the Manchester United legend is.

“A Manchester United legend/former captain and a UEFA Champions League winner will be coming to play Chess against some of the kids in our academy at Oshodi underbridge. Can you guess who it is?”, Onakoya wrote.

Evra, revealed in a video he posted via Twitter on Friday, that he would be visiting Nigeria.

“Breaking news! Evra bus stop will stop in Nigeria for the first time ever,” Evra announced.

The Manchester United legend in another video posted on his Twitter handle was seen playing chess with some of the kids in the Oshodi underbridge.

He wrote;

“Checkmate ♟ Evra bus 🚌 stop #Nigeria ! 🔥🇳🇬 I’m soo impressed by those genius kids @Tunde_OD 🙏🏽 @burnaboy #ilovethisgame #positive4evra”
