Gan Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN) says one Buhari Muhammad was killed when gunmen stormed Rangyel community of Bassa LGA of Plateau State.
The state chairman of the association, Abdullahi Garba, who made the disclosure, said 17-year-old Muhammad was killed alongside four cows.
Garba added that five other persons were injured during the attack by gunmen.
According to him, the body of the deceased was recovered by the police.
the latest incident came few days after two members of the Irigwe ethnic group were killed in a convoy of the member representing Jos North/Bassa constituency, Musa Agah.
Garba explained that Muhammad was attacked when he took his cattle to graze and the gunmen suddenly opened fire on him.
However, ASP Gabriel Ogaba, the spokesman of the police in the state, told The Nation that he was yet to get the information.
