The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, has deployed over 700 troops to different places of worship and leisure locations in the State for Eidi Fitr celebration and the Federal Government of Nigeria’s designated public holidays.

According to the State Commandant of the Corps, Mr. A A Sparks, who is represented by the Deputy Commandant, Operations, Mr. B B Bodinga, the deployment is intended to guarantee that the celebration of Salah goes off without a hitch and without any animosity.

“No stone will be left unturned in maintaining security in the state” he added.

He warned all hoodlums and miscreants planning mischief to relocate from the state as Zamfara State is no longer a safe haven for criminals.
