A nursing mother and her 13-year-old her step son has been abducted by gunmen during an invasion of Maje community on the outskirt of Suleja in Niger State.
The duo were abducted alomgside another housewife from a nearby home on Tuesday.
A resident, who simply gave his name as Musa, disclosed that the nine-day-old baby of the first victim and her co-wife were spared by the kidnappers.
A family source, who spoke in confidence with dailytrust said that the kidnappers made contact on Wednesday, demanding N5m per each person.
The source added that, “They also warned that the nursing woman was bleeding which could lead to her death if the ransom was delayed.’’
The husband of the nursing mother works in the Southern part of the country and was yet to arrive, the media outlet reports.
The police spokesperson in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, has not issued a statement on incident.
