Former presidential aide and Arise TV anchor, Reuben Abati clashed with Dr. Victor Oye, the National Chairman of The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), on National TV this morning.

On Wednesday while co-anchoring “Morning Show”, a programme on ARISE TV, The Journalist got furious with the APGA chieftain after he was ordered to keep quiet while  dissecting issues relating to the “APGA primaries ahead of 2023 Election.”

The brouhaha started when Abati asked Mr. Oye to take full responsibility for the defamatory statements he made about another politician during the program.

The APGA Chaiman responded by telling Reuben he had no right to challenge his answers to important questions about the forthcoming election.

The former spokesperson for ex-President Goodluck Jonathan fired back at Mr Oye and accused the politician of asking him to shut up while he was ranting.

An angry Abati further expressed his displeasure, claiming that Mr. Oye has no right to talk to him like that. Oye however denied telling Abati to shut up.
