Hon. Ali Ibrahim Isah Shanono, member representing Bagwai/Shanono Constituency in the Kano State House of Assembly, has returned to the All Progressive Congress (APC) few days after defecting to the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
Recall that 14 House of Assembly members in Kano defected to the NNPP from the People Democratic Party (PDP) and the APC.
Shanono also defected to the NNPP from APC, but later dumped the new party to return to APC.
The lawmaker disclosed this in a letter sent to the house where he deactivated his membership of NNPP and rejoined APC
He pledged to work round the clock for the success of the APC party at the forthcoming polls.
The political calculation of Kano is changing ahead of the of 2023 elections.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that many aggrieved APC chieftains like Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, Abdumumini Jubril have also joined the fast growing party, NNPP ahead of the 2023 general elections.
