The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the constitution of its National Campaign Council for the Ekiti State governorship poll.
The announcement is contained in a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba on Thursday
According to the statement, the PDP named Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as the council chairman.
The election is slated for Saturday June 18, 2022.
Abia Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu will serve as his deputy while Adedamola Adegbite as the administrative secretary.
Council members are Governors Nyesom Wike, Udom Emmanuel, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja and Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, among others.
The party will announce the date for the inaugural meeting and other information in due course.
