The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government of Nasarawa State, CSP Haruna Abdulmalik, has been kidnapped on gunmen on Thursday while on patrol off Nasarawa Eggon – Akwanga Road.
According to reports, the kidnappers have contacted the family of the victim, demanding N5m ransom
The State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Asp Ramhan Nansel, could not be reached to comment on the incident as at the time of filling this report.
However, the Deputy Chairman of the Local Government Area, Benjamin Kuze confirmed the incident to Vanguard.
