An official of an indigenous pipeline surveillance firm identified as Indukakpo Ogede, has been killed by three-member gang suspected to be assassins in Bayelsa State.

Ogede’s assailants were said to have shot him twice in a hotel around Tamic Road in the Okutukutu area of Yenagoa on Sunday.

The gunmen were said to have entered the hotel and paid for three rooms where they lurked around to strike their target.

According to PUNCH, sources said after they lodged, they went to the bar of the hotel and drank beer while waiting for their victim, who had gone out for an assignment, to return.
