Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, has won his polling unit.
He received 218 votes to win.
Senator Adeleke cast his ballot in Ede North at the Unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde/Sagba polling location.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola, his leading opponent, received 23 votes, while Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party received one vote.
Meanwhile, at Ward 2, Polling Unit 007, Oke-Ola, CAC Primary School in Igbogon the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said there are over 85 percent turnout.
However, voting is still ongoing in some polling units across the state.
At Ward 4, Polling Unit 2 Gof area, Osogbo, voting is still ongoing.
