The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has deleted a post where he reacted to the outcome of the just-concluded Osun State governorship election, hours after the post went viral on Sunday morning.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that while reacting after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the the Peoples Democratic Party, winner, Aregbesola via a short article posted on his Facebook page on Sunday said “Osun Le Tente.”
The Media Adviser to the Minister of Interior, Sola Fasure, in a statement on Sunday said the deleted post was not authorised.
Recall that the former Osun State governor boycotted the election and had remain silent on development in Osun State after his outburst against the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress and his political boss, Bola Tinubu, in February 2022.
