Tragedy struck in Mararaba when a man identified as Kingsley killed his girlfriend, Anyawu Grace, for allegedly sleeping with another man in Karu LGA of Nasarawa State.

The incident was said to have happened on Sunday morning.

It was gathered that Kingsley after returning from a night journey found his girlfriend with another man when he peeped through the window.

According to Daily Trust, a neighbour, Ogunleye Tunde, said that: “As soon as he discovered this, he forcefully opened the door, went to the kitchen and took a knife, killed his girlfriend and also attempted to stab the man, who fought back to save his life.

The State Police Command is yet to comment on the incident as of the time of filing this report.
