The Super Falcons lost their championship at the event after placing fourth.
The West Africans played six games in Morocco, and they won three and lost three.
However, the nine-time African champions qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
After the match, there were demands that the Americans be fired.
The Technical and Development Sub-Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has now been instructed to convene a meeting and make recommendations on how to reposition the team ahead of the World Cup scheduled for Australia and New Zealand.
The directive was contained in a communique of the NFF Executive Committee Annual General Assembly (AGA) held in Lagos.
Waldrum was appointed head coach of the Super Falcons on October 5, 2020, barely three years after turning down the role.
