The United States will be participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This will be the country’s 13th World Cup appearance overall and their 10th consecutive appearance. The U.S. did not make it out of the group stage in 2014, but they are hoping for a better performance this time around. The United States has been drawn into Group B, and will compete against England, Wales and Iran.

The country is considered to be one of the tougher groups in the tournament, which should give any punter in the US confidence to bet on it in a real money online casino. It has a good chance to advance out of the group stage, but they will need to play their best soccer if they want to make a deep run in the tournament.

How to watch the World Cup

You can walk into a bar or club where the matches are being shown, or make a cable subscription. FS1 and Fox sport will broadcast live games, which are split between the two as 31 and 29 games respectively. You can use other streaming avenues like Youtube and Fubo TV.

What is unique about this year’s World Cup?

This year’s World Cup is unique in a number of ways. For one, it is being held in the Middle East, at which time US will be on the edge of winter. US games will also coincide with the famous Black Friday and Thanksgiving holidays. Owing to the low rating of soccer in America and the government seeking to popularize it, this could be the eureka moment they have been waiting for. Many people will be home with their friends and family bonding over the game, or solo glued to the matches on their screens.

Can you bet on World Cup Games?

With sports betting legalized in many states, you can bet on any country from the US. The fixtures have already been drawn, which means you should be doing your betting analysis. Bookmakers and oddsmakers are also keen on tapping into the market., and will offer numerous bet options.

Although the United States has had its fair share if losses in the previous World Cup tournaments, this presents a perfect chance to redeem itself. It has the resources, the players, and massive home support. All that remains is to get on the field and showcase the skills on its play days.
