Victor Osimhen, a forward for Napoli, is eager to play again after a layoff due to injury.
Osimhen has been sidelined since picking up an injury in Napoli’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool on September 7.
The Nigerian international did, however, engage in a customised workout on Monday (today) at the club’s SSCN Konami Training Centre.
“Following session aimed at ball possession and closing with a match on a reduced field. Osimhen and Politano did therapies and personalized training on the pitch,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
The 23-year-old has missed Napoli’s last three games across all competitions as a result of the injury.
The striker has scored two goals in five appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season.
