Alan Shearer, a Newcastle United legend, has predicted that the club will finish in the top four this season.
Along with Manchester United and Chelsea, Shearer predicts that Arsenal will finish in the top four of the Premier League standings this season.
Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table with one point ahead of second position Manchester City and third place Tottenham Hotspur.
Man United and Chelsea are in fifth and seventh positions, respectively.
However, following their brilliant start to the new season, Shearer believes Mikel Arteta’s men will defy his start-of-the-season expectations.
“I think I might say Arsenal,” Shearer told ViaPlay (as per HITC Sport).
“It has slightly changed from the beginning of the season. But on the evidence I have seen from Manchester United and Chelsea, then I think Arsenal might sneak in there as well.”
