Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Zamfara State chapter, Alh Ahmad Sani Kaura, is dead. He died today after a protracted illness.
He died after slumping during a peace accord meeting
Preparations are in top gear to bury his remains according to Islamic injunction today in his home town of Kaura Namoda.
His death is coming a day after the only surviving Zikist, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi, also minister of aviation in the first republic died.
Amechi died aged 93 and was known for his interventions for Igbo land, including the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, which he failed to realise before his death.
