Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has criticized Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney, two of his former teammates.
In response to Neville and Rooney’s criticism of him, Ronaldo declared that he would not lose weight or have trouble sleeping.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus star said this while reacting to Neville and Rooney’s recent criticism of him.
Recall that Ronaldo had received criticism for his antics at Man United from both former Man United players.
“I think they take advantage of that [my name] because they are not stupid,” Ronaldo said in an exclusive interview with British veteran journalist, Piers Morgan.
“And I really understand, and I have to carry on with my life with criticism. But it’s hard when you see people who were in a dressing room with you criticize you in that way. It’s not good.
“It doesn’t hurt me, I’m not going to lose weight or sleep badly because of the criticism, but it’s not good to listen to that. A little bit disappointing.”
