The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign launch in Jos, Plateau State, descended into chaos on Tuesday after angry crowds began throwing banners, posters, placards, and stones.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the campaign rally was held to launch the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima’s, campaign.

In a viral video shared online, an APC official could be heard pleading with the crowd to stop disrupting the event as they began throwing away banners and posters they had brought to the venue.

While the cause of the incident was unknown at the time of publication, an APC official asked security agents not to beat up the unruly crowd.
