Fabio Capello, a former manager of Real Madrid, has hinted that the club is interested in Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has drawn the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs as a result of his outstanding performances since joining the Parthenopeans from French Ligue 1 club, Lille in 2020.
The 23-year-old has nine goals this season, which puts him atop the Serie A scoring charts.
There were reports Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti is keen on bringing the Nigeria international to the Santiago Bernabeu as replacement for Karim Benzema.
Capello has further fueled the rumour by stating that the European champions are after Osimhen.
“I heard rumours here in Dubai, De Laurentiis (Napoli president) needs to straighten the antennas about Osimhen,” he said.
“Here I know several… Real Madrid? I don’t do names, not even under torture.”
