Rotimi Amaechi, the former Minister of Transport, has earned a law degree from Baze University in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The former Minister confirmed this by sharing photos from his convocation ceremony on November 19th.
Amaechi took to Twitter and captioned the photos he shared with the words:
Convocation ✅ Certified graduate of Law.
However, it was noticed that Amaechi stylishly covered the institution’s name, which is owned by Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 vice presidential candidate.
However, the former Minister’s decision to conceal the school’s name earned him some flak on social media.
While some simply congratulated him on his new educational achievement and moved on, others called him out for concealing the school’s name.

If he had been good enough, he could have graduated from a federal or state university.
Politicians should use public schools and hospitals because they benefit from public funds.
