JUST IN: Suspected Gunmen Abduct Doctor, Son In Benue Community

Alex Igyemwase, a doctor, has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in Benue state’s Zaki Biam, Ukum Local Government Area.

The event occurred on Tuesday at 8 p.m., according to a source from the area who asked to remain anonymous.

He claimed that the doctor and his son were abducted from the doctor’s home in Zaki Biam, which is next to NKST Second School.

The son was later released without incident, but the kidnappers haven’t gotten in touch with the family, the source claims.

The medical director of the Hope and Maternity Hospital in Zaki Biam, it was learned, is the doctor.

As at the time of filing this report, his where about was yet to known.

The Divisional Police Office in Ukum Local Government area confirmed that the matter has been reported to the police station.
