​Zulum appoints 7 Permanent Secretaries

The Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has approved the appointment of seven Permanent Secretaries.

The approval was announced on Monday by the Head of Service, Mallum Fannami.

The appointees hail from different Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.

Those appointed are Mohammed Badiya, Ngala LGA; Mohammed Alhaji, Biu LGA; Shettima Bukar, Monguno LGA.

Yusuf Garga, Kwaya-kusar LGA; Modu Mai-Bukar, Dikwa LGA; Babagana Kadai, Gubio LGA; Babagana Kyari, Kaga LGA.

The governor charged them to use their experience to improve the Borno civil service.

In another development, Zulum, has signed, at least, 775 certificates of occupancy (C of Os) for landowners in the last two years.

Executive Secretary, Borno Geographic Information Service (BOGIS), Adam Bababe, told newsmen during a press briefing in Maiduguri that the C of Os signed by the governor since 2020 were the most ever approved and issued in 20 years.
